Laura McIntosh reels you in with her “girl-next-door” charm and brings big-city attraction to small-town places. Having grown up in a family that has been farming for five generations, Laura is the natural host of the agriculturally based cooking show, Bringing it Home™. By establishing a genuine connection with viewers of all types, Laura has boosted the success of this weekly television production coined “the show that goes where food grows.” Currently airing on affiliates throughout Southern California and Las Vegas television markets, the show travels to a different agricultural location weekly and invites a local restaurant guest chef to create recipes including a featured fresh commodity. The show was created by McIntosh and has since been integrated into a “fresh” in-store marketing campaign known as “Make the Most of Your Produce” for Kroger, one of the nation’s largest supermarket chains. Laura’s inherent ability to interact with and capture the hearts of thousands of viewers paves the way for a worldwide expansion of the show’s broadcast coverage. After participating in the Theater Arts program at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Laura graduated from the Acting Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Before she became the host of Bringing it Home™, Laura hosted and produced a cooking show in Northern California for 3 and ½ years on ABC called The Full Bloom Show. After various voiceover, freelance acting projects, and film work for companies such as Dodge, The Oppenheimer Group International, Dupont, and Gallo Wineries, Laura has found her niche exploring the tempting world of fresh produce and bringing it from the field to the table. As one of the founding members of the production company M. Entertainment, Laura handles many other aspects of the Bringing it Home™ production, including script-writing, event coordination, media relations, and maintaining an extensive personal appearance schedule.
